Accessibility Statement

Stabby is committed to making this website accessible to all people, including those with disabilities, in accordance with Israeli law.

Last updated: March 2026

1. Our Commitment

Stabby Tattoo & Piercing believes that every person deserves equal access to information and services on the web. We are committed to ensuring that our website is accessible to people with disabilities and to continuously improving the user experience for everyone.

2. Legal Framework

This website is maintained in accordance with:

  • Equal Rights for People with Disabilities Law, 5758-1998 (חוק שוויון זכויות לאנשים עם מוגבלות)
  • Accessibility of Internet Services Regulations, 5774-2013 (תקנות נגישות שירותי אינטרנט)
  • Israeli Standard IS 5568 — Web Content Accessibility Guidelines adapted from WCAG 2.0 Level AA
  • WCAG 2.1 Level AA — Web Content Accessibility Guidelines published by the W3C, which we use as our practical implementation target

3. Conformance Status

This website partially conforms to WCAG 2.1 Level AA. We are actively working toward full conformance. Some older content or third-party embedded elements may not yet meet all guidelines. We are committed to resolving any identified gaps.

4. Accessibility Features

Steps we have taken to improve accessibility on this website include:

  • Semantic HTML5 landmark elements (header, main, nav, footer, section, article)
  • ARIA labels and roles on all interactive elements
  • Full keyboard navigation support throughout the site
  • Visible focus indicators on all interactive elements
  • Sufficient colour contrast ratios meeting WCAG AA requirements
  • Descriptive alt text on all meaningful images
  • Responsive design that works across all screen sizes and zoom levels
  • Respect for the prefers-reduced-motion media query — animations are disabled when the user has set this preference
  • An on-page Accessibility Widget (the wheelchair icon, bottom-left corner) providing additional controls including font size, contrast, dyslexia-friendly font, and more
  • Skip-to-content support for screen-reader and keyboard users

5. Known Limitations

We are aware of the following areas where we are still working to improve accessibility:

  • Some third-party booking or social-media embedded content may not be fully accessible — we have limited control over these components and are seeking alternatives
  • Video content (if added in future) will include captions and audio description
  • PDF documents linked from the site may not yet be fully tagged for screen readers

6. Accessibility Coordinator

In accordance with Israeli regulations, Stabby has designated an Accessibility Coordinator responsible for handling accessibility enquiries and complaints. To contact the coordinator, please use the details below.
